Overdraft Loan

Sometimes it is not easy to keep track of exactly how much money you have in your checking account. Wouldn’t it be nice to have a back-up plan in place, for those “I forgot” moments? A Checking Overdraft Loan – aka Line of Credit (LOC) is exactly what you need, and it always has your back.

A Checking Overdraft Loan is tied to your checking account and protects you when you think you have more money in your account, then you do. You apply for a certain limit you are comfortable with. Once approved if you ever have a check clearing or a debit card transaction come through for more than your balance, the Overdraft Loan will kick in, in $100 increments, to cover your transaction. After that  you can make monthly payments on that balance or pay it off when you get your next paycheck.  Rates are competitive and repayments can easily be done with online, mobile or app banking.

  • Ready to use when you are. No costs until the funds are needed.
  • Easy to apply for, to protect your checking account from Bounce Protection fees or NSF's.
  • Competitive interest rates based on credit score.
  • Payments are due on the 28th of each month.
  • Payments figured on a percentage of the balance or minimum of $15; whichever is greater.
  • Advancements are in $100 increments; minimum advancement is $100.
  • Advances can be made via checks written, Home Banking, CU*Talk, and ATM/Debit Card.
