Benefits Plus® is a value-added program Frankenmuth Credit Union members can add to their Frankenmuth Credit Union membership for a low, monthly fee of $6.00. Benefits Plus® makes members’ lives easier and saves them money on everyday purchases, travel, and more.
Benefits Plus® can easily be accessed by the Benefits Plus® app, the Benefits Plus® website (www.Benefits-Plus.org), or members can speak to a live representative by calling (866) 329-7587.
- Travel – including hotel reservations, flights, car rentals, tours & activities, cruise vacations, Airbnb bookings and more all with the guaranteed lowest available pricing and concierge assistance.
- Benefits Plus® also offers discounted eGift Cards/Gift Cards you can use for groceries, gas, shopping, dining, entertainment, office supplies, and more! You can even save on Amazon, Walmart, Kroger and Target egift cards.
- Discounted tickets for movies, sporting events, theme parks, theater tickets, skiing, golf and more recreation are also available.
- There are over 300,000 participating local businesses offering show and save discounts right in the community where you live, work and travel.
- Health and wellness benefits for vision, pharmacies, hearing, and WellCard Health Benefits.
The more you use Benefits Plus® the more you can save monthly. On average members that use Benefits Plus® save an overage of $120 a month. Use the savings calculator below to calculate your own savings opportunities.
When you reserve hotel rooms, book flights, book cruises, or use Benefits Plus® for other travel needs, members can earn 3%-5% cash back on travel booked through Benefits Plus®. Some cash back is automatic and some are sent in the form of a check once you get home.
Take a screenshot of that and Benefits Plus® will match that. That way you can still get your 5% cash back.
If a FCU member would like to get Benefits Plus®, the cost would be $6.00 a month and would be deducted automatically from the regular checking account. If a member would like Benefits Plus® and ID Protect they could get the bundled discount cost of $8.00 a month.

A: 90 Day Purchase Protection – Program Features:
- New purchases are automatically covered against loss due to fire damage or theft from a secured environment for 90 days for the purchase date
- $1,000 in coverage per occurrence per year/ $5,000 lifetime cap
- Automatic coverage with no pre-registration required
- Claims must filed within 30 days of reported fire damage or theft
- Great coverage for your holiday purchases

- Claims must filed within 30 days of loss/repair some exclusions apply
A benefit of membership for Business Accounts that bank with FCU is the opportunity to put offers on the Benefits Plus® site to drive traffic to their business. Businesses that would like to participate and do bank with FCU will need to contact FCU either by phone (989) 497-1600 or in-person at one of our FCU branches to set up.

While Benefits Plus doesn’t have an age requirement to be enrolled in the program, several of their services do. For example: rental car, hotels, etc.
You must have an FCU checking account in order to enroll in Benefit’s Plus®.
When this happens it typically means they are temporarily out of stock for that merchant and fulfillment normally has them in stock, available within 24 hours.
